SNOW much fun! at the Seng Girls Vocational Training School

– by Serr Tso (our Captivating coordinator at the Girls Home)

In April this year, while the South wears dresses of colorful flowers and green trees, Qinghai was still a world of ice and snow. Our campus was covered by heavy snow everywhere, it was very shiny and bright, we couldn’t even open our eyes. The hard-working students got up early to clean the playground, and their faces were red because of the cold. They looked cute while they occasionally rubbed their hands and ears to get warm. It had been snowing constantly and didn’t take long before the ground has accumulated thick snow.

After lunch, all the students came out of the classroom to have fun. Some washed dishes with snow, and some made big snowmen. Little girls cried when they were defeated by others in the snowball fight. Some girls sang songs and danced with each other.

Snow is cold, but the girls who live in the Seng Girls Vocational Training School and Home don’t feel that, many students didn’t wear gloves and felt hot. I do believe that the snow has power to bring them happiness and energy.

Snow Fun (6)Thank you for all of the sponsors’ support. We always have fun together with hundreds of girls in this lovely place. We love our school so much.
