At a young age, Abigail (name changed for privacy) has been a victim of abuse and neglect. In their community, men would contact her and sexually exploit her in exchange for money. This has become the family’s main way so they can buy food.
Abigail’s case was referred to us in Blessed Project and we assisted in her rescue. Abigail, now 17, and her two-year-old daughter were welcomed today at the Blessed House, where they will be receiving the necessary support as she heals and learns skills so she can be employed and support her child.
