OSAEC? What’s That? Spreading The Word To 100 People

We recently shared Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) prevention materials to 100 individuals near our Microfinance Program office.

After several months of another strict lockdown in Manila, public schools are getting ready once again for class module distribution. This allows us to reach out to more students despite schools being closed.
Recently, we were able to distribute OSAEC (online sexual abuse and exploitation of children) information booklets to 520 elementary school students through Honor 1000’s partnership with a public school located in one of the identified high risk areas in Metro Manila.
The team also conducts random monitoring activities wherein they visit houses of parents and kids who received the booklets to check if they are working on the materials, as well as discuss any questions they might have.
