Happy ‘WARM’ Chinese New Year Seng Girls!

At 4,000+ meters altitude and -20 degrees Celsius outside, it can be a real challenge for the girls at Seng Girls Vocational Training School and Home to keep warm at night. Not helping this situation have been old and thin mattresses and worn out quilts.

Mattress and Quilt donation LFLi & Fung to the rescue: Thanks to so many employees from Li & Fung continuing their child sponsorship support this year, the Fung (1906) Foundation agreed to make a corporate matching donation to the SGVTS program (this is the second year they have matched employee contributions to this program). Just before Chinese New Year, part of these funds were used to supply 150 new mattresses and 70 new quilts to very excited and grateful girls. Captivating and the gorgeous Seng girls are so thankful to their sponsors and the Fung (1906) Foundation for helping them to keep warm this winter.

Happy ‘warm’ Chinese New Year girls!
