The 2018 Greenhouse project brought greenhouses to 130 families across 3 different village locations. Mr Tserang is the Village leader of a project location where 40 families, mostly single moms, have benefited from this greenhouse project. He is a very responsible village leader and fully supportive of the project. There are 57 households in his village and another 63 families near his neighboring village. It is from both these villages that 40 single moms were eventually selected. He has been helping to supervising the construction work throughout. He wanted to send his appreciation:

“I am very grateful for the Greenhouse project that you have supported for the single mothers in my village. I see the struggles that these mothers battle every day. It’s difficult for them to provide for their children. Many of the children are not able to go to school because of this reason. Quality vegetables are already growing in their greenhouses. I am very happy to see the single moms in my village having big smiles and bright hope for their future. Because of theses greenhouses, these families will be able to grow quality produce all year round rather than just in the summer months. I am helping to negotiate with the shops and markets in the country for these families to sell their produce.“
“We appreciate all you have done for the families in my village. I promise to help them establish good crops from their Greenhouses and grow their income. We all look forward to seeing their children back in school with bright futures.”
