Growing and Graduating

Thanks to Honor 1000's Micro-Finance Program, Judy is about to see two of her youngest children graduate. Judy is happily married, a mother of eight, and a small-scale entrepreneur. Through the assistance of microloans, she was able to grow pigs as part of her business. After a year, she opened her own sari-sari store together with her daughter.

Teaching students to be safe

The local government and public schools in Siquijor are very thankful for HONOR 1000’s efforts to raise awareness about human trafficking and online sexual exploitation of children. Weekly sessions are conducted in school to teach students the dangers of online predators and how to protect themselves.

STOP the Traffick 2018 - Thank you!

Thank you so much for your support of our 3rd Annual STOP the Traffick 5k. Together, you raised US$48,700 [AU$66,800] to stop Nepali women and girls from becoming victims of trafficking. Each year is bigger and better and this year was certainly a testament to amazing leaders across the globe who stood up and said 'I'm against trafficking, who's with me?'

Sustaining a family of eight

The Honor 1000 micro-finance project is continuing to bring hope to Filipino women and their children. Over 2,000 women are supported by this project by learning small business management skills and earning incomes to support themselves and their children - thus keeping children in school, removing the attraction of migration work and keeping families safe from human trafficking. This loving wife and hard-working mother is part of the Honor 1000 Micro-finance project. She is grateful that her small grocery store is able to sustain their family of eight.
