New Found Independence and Sustainable Living

Caihangji enrolled in the Vocational School Scholarship program in 2016 and majored in Medicine. After two years of hard study and 1 year internship, she graduated as one of the top 10 in her class of 29 students. She is now officially employed as a pharmacist and earns a good monthly salary. She is very excited about her new found independence and ability to earn good money.

"My dream has come true!" - Vocational School Scholarships opening doors for girls

After 3 years of studies, she has just graduated and is thrilled to share her good news with the world. "At the end of my internship at a local school, the school director informed me that I am officially hired and my paid job will start in September. I am very lucky to be in my favorite career. Time flies when I am doing the thing I love most. I really like spending time with the children in the classroom. I call them 'my children' and they surprise me every day with the way they learn so quickly."

A dream I didn't dare to dream

Right now, the Captivating Healthy Village Project is visiting remote villages and communities through Western China. This project is two-fold; 1) Much needed medical help is brought to these poor, remote locations,  2) Single mothers trapped in poverty and girls who are no longer in school are being discovered. This brings a wonderful opportunity to help in an even greater capacity. Here is a story of one mother who received greater help than she even dared to dream.
