Now in our 3rd year of Greenhouse solutions in partnership with our wonderful friends at GPA Global, a family who receives one of our greenhouses will have the capacity to increase their cash income by an estimated RMB4,000 a year (70%). This is SIGNIFICANT, and results in many children going on to complete their schooling who would otherwise be rural school drop-outs.

43 village women have recently had the opportunity to attend a one day training program in their village of A Zhuang, which covered women’s health issues, infectious diseases and childcare. Many of these women have been living with various health concerns for many years.

On the way back home all we talked about was what happened in the rolling place and we compared pain, bumps and bruises. When we see the rainbow, we forget what we have experienced before. Following the success of last weeks Kidz with Heart Mini Olympics events at Jingshan Villa’s – Shekou, the event went “double the fun” this year with a second event. This is the 4th year that PCH and Captivating have partnered together to bring special training to university students in China. 24 students recently graduated the PCH Capacity Training program over a 5 month period, learning skills in project management, implementation and reporting. These students now understand the importance of giving back to their communities and are equipped to be able to see the needs in their communities and have the capacity to make a difference.
