Below is a letter written by 3 girls from SGVTS,. These three girls were to chosen to start an internship at the LOVEQTRA office at Xining (the capital of Qinghai Province). LOVEQTRA is the registered NPO that started the SGVTS project back in 2005. The aim is for these three girls to work permanently in the LOVEQTRA office to support the ongoing work and development of the project. This is a wonderful development for them and the project as a whole. Kalsang Methok, pictured left, recently completed an internship in Captivating Shenzhen and is now taking her skills to the next level.

Hello!
We are three students from the Seng Girls Vocational Training School and Home, and are currently receiving financial help from you. Through the school’s arrangement, the three of us came to the LOVEQTRA office in Xining for training. While we’ve been here in Xining we’ve had the chance to learn many useful things under the careful tutelage of our trainers. Besides gaining a lot of knowledge and skills, we’ve also been learning about good values for the work place. With the Chinese language though, we’ve found our foundations very weak. But with the help of good-hearted people, we’ve improved a lot already! What is more we’ve understood more about life in general. We’ve learned how to be more independent and self reliant and how to help and love each other. All of this has changed our life for the better.
From now on we will be even more hard-working and try to complement each other’s strengths and weaknesses.
Thank you for your self-less love that has always warmed our hearts. We will definitely not let you down.
