WSH: Desperation Attracts Deception – Asha’s Story

Desperate for a better future, Asha was scammed while seeking work abroad but found hope and support at our Women’s Safe Haven and Vocational Center.

Our hearts swell with pride when we see our beneficiaries give back to their community. This is Achal*, she has spent some time at the Women’s Safe Haven is now reintegrated back to the community. Today, she runs her own tailoring shop and is now teaching seven women in her shop.
When we give opportunities to one person, there is no telling of the ripple effect that opportunity can create to her own circle. We are proud of Anita for passing on that hope that was given to her years ago.
