PROJECT EDEN – Life’s good.

These past 6 months have seen the kids at Eden progress well with their studies, and a few of them start the challenging transition towards independence.  It has also been a great six months of engagement by the local community.

Students in the secondary IB class at QSI International School of Shekou participated in a service project to help support the children at Project Eden.  Over two visits, they established a recreational/games rooms and a library as well as providing tutoring to some of the kids in math and English.  Thanks QSI teachers and students.

A highlight for everyone was a trip to the beach.  Over 40 people attended and for many of the girls from Qinghai studying Chinese at Project Eden, this was their first time to the beach.  What a great day.  Thanks Dale and Cyndi for making this happen.
